In the center of Holbox lies a fully funcional working goldsmithing studio, where one of a kind jewelry is fabricated daily by artist Noa Walson

Noa Walson has worked in metal for more than 25 years.  From the first piece she fabricated, she realized that she had a gift and passion for metalsmithing. Noa graduated from Pitzer College with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Fine Arts in 1996 after completing a foreign exchange in Italy.

En el centro del pueblo de la Isla de Holbox se encuentra un taller profesional de orfebrería, donde diariamente piezas únicas de joyería son fabricadas por la artista Noa Walson.

Ha trabajado los metales por más de 25 años. Desde la primera pieza que creó se dió cuenta que tenía un don y una pasión por la orfebrería.Se graduó con una Licenciatura en Artes en Pitzer College in 1996 tras completar un intercambio en Italia y estudiar en un Taller Independiente de Orfebrería.

Noa is inspired daily by the natural beauty of the Yucatan Peninsula. The majority of the designs in the marine collection are direct reproductions of the marine life found on the beaches of Holbox throughout the year, made into molds and then cast in 18K yellow and 14K white gold using the ancient lost wax casting technique.

Noa se inspira cada día de la naturaleza y belleza de la península de Yucatan. La mayoría de sus diseños en la Colección marina son reproducciones directas de la vida marina encontrada en la playa de Holbox durante el año, hecho en moldes y luego transformados en oro de 18K amarillo y 14K blanco, usando la técnica antigua de cera perdida.
